1019 Lee Avenue
In 2014, Walls-Studio acquired the long abandoned building at 1019 Lee Avenue, transforming it into a vibrant mixed-use space. The project resulted in a 3,000 square foot office on the first floor and two modern two-bedroom studio lofts on the second floor. Each loft features a modern open living concept, a spacious main bedroom and a smaller sleeping area with a Murphy bed that seamlessly converts into a desk for added versatility.
The renovation required extensive demolition, including creating new front and rear openings in the brick facade for windows and entry doors. Private covered balconies and separate entrances were constructed for each loft to enhance privacy and functionality. Additionally, a structurally unsound 800 square foot building was removed to make way for parking and green space.
In 2021, Walls-Studio sold the property, and the new owners are planning a second phase of development to add more residential units to the site.
